Framing

A vital part of finishing the studio's art pieces.

Framing makes the artpiece you have ordered aesthetically pleasing and keeps the viewers eye centred on the art. It also protects the art-piece for longevity on your wall.

You can choose to do this yourself, or with us as part of the investment in this product and service, but I highly recommend the studio completing this part of the process.

I know what is right for the image or series, and with a consultation with what your home and room and wall style is like, I can ensure to get the finished photographic art piece looking perfect.

Our options for print finishes are:

  • Photographic Matte paper

  • Art Paper – a heavy grade of watercolour paper often finished with ripped edges and floated off the back matt board.

  • Laminated – a gloss or matt film over the front of the paper encapsulates the image and highly protects it against temperature changes, this is framed without glass and finished with a frame.

  • Canvas - with a washable laminate (not sprayed) – no moulding and no glass. The straight edged look.

Our options for framing with glass are:

  • Silver, Gold, Black and White, Wooden mouldings.

  • Floated or matt board over the image.

  • We have our preferred mouldings at the studio.
